Where these numbers come from

Philippine Statistics Authority, Philippine Statistical Yearbook, chapter 8 (Tourism), through OpenSTAT: Visitor Arrivals by Country of Residence: 2019 to 2024 (0012I2BVAC0); Visitor Arrivals by Country of Residence and Mode of Travel: 2022 to 2024 (0022I2BMOT0); Air Visitor Arrivals by Country of Residence and Age Group: 2005 to 2024 (0032I2BAVA0); Air Visitor Arrivals by Country of Residence and Purpose of Travel: 2009 to 2024 (0042I2BTRP0); Number of Visitor Arrivals, Average Daily Expenditure, Average Length of Stay and Amount of Visitor Receipts: 2003 to 2024 (0052I2BNVA0).

Arrivals count trips, not people: someone who visits twice counts twice. Countries are by where visitors live, not their passport. Ages and reasons for travel come from arrival cards. Average stay and spending are for foreign visitors only, in US dollars.
